The 2016 Ducati Hypermotard 939 SP has a number of hight products
to give it top-tier status among the three machines in the line.
Starting with magnesium head covers, the SP version also has up-spec
suspension components from Ohlins, a 50mm USD fully adjustable fork and
fully adjustable Ohlins rear shock. It also comes with three-spoke,
forged Marchesini wheels and aluminum tapered handlebars. The front
brake lever is five-position adjustable, while on the standard
Hypermotard 939 and Hyperstrada 939 there are four positions available.
The SP also has a sport saddle and carbon fiber mudguard and cam belt
covers. It rolls on Pirelli Supercorsa SP tires and has a 59-inch
wheelbase. Seat height is 35 inches and ride weight is 443 pounds. The
SP comes in a Red/White Ducati Corse body, red frame and black wheel
colorway.

The case of the Hypermotard, Machine took the former 821cc motor and
bored the cylinders back to the old 94mm diameter of the 848, retaining
the 67.5mm stroke. Again, the final result is very appealing. Output is
up just 1 hp, from 112 to 113, torque jumps from 65.9 to 72.2
lb.-ft. New styling and graphics make the bike look even leaner and
sharper while keeping its basic inspiration. As before, the model line
includes the Hyperstrada version with saddlebags and a more comfortable
seat
