Timbersled systems fit a wide range of modern motocross and off-road dirt bikes from the early 20’s to today. Because the Timbersled system is universal, it requires an Installation kit (or fit kit) that is motorcycle specific. The installation kit consists of all the motorcycle specific mounting part.

"Timbersled has created a compelling product
and revolutionized the sport of snow biking, and we are excited to see
what they can accomplish with access to Polaris’ considerable
engineering, manufacturing and distribution capabilities,” said, Polaris Chairman & CEO in a press release.
Polaris (NYSE:
PII) plans to keep Timbersled's brand the same and says the operations
and 40 employees, will remain near Sandport. Timbersled has about 150
dealers.
Polaris manufactures motorcycles under the brand names Indian and Victory and snowmobiles under the Polaris brand.
Medina-based
Polaris had 2014 sales of $4.5 billion and Timbersled's revenues were
"well less than 1 percent" of that, according to a fact sheet provided
by Polaris about the big deal.
The acquisition should slightly boost Polaris' income in 2016.
